Doug Underground is a musician, entrepreneur, and writer from New York, NY, now living in Stamford, CT. He is the founder of “The You Frontier LLC,” a creative co-working and event space in Norwalk, CT, which has hosted several open mics and performances. Rediscover Your Creative Spark
I am proud to announce the release of my album, “Legacy 2.0.”
When I was 16 or 17 years old, I started compiling together some lyrics jotted down in my notebook, and dabbled on GarageBand with making and mixing beats. I had recently begun to write songs and record them on SoundCloud. This book of compilations was going to become a full album; entitled Legacy, inspired by the Eminem song (from MMLP2) of the same name. It took me about a decade to complete this album, with a Long break in between, but I put a lot of work in over the past year to complete what I had started long ago.
Legacy 2.0 is of course an album about in part about me, but it is also an album for everyone feeling a similar way, everyone who is trying to rediscover their childhood dreams or creative spark, and was told that those goals went against what was most practical. Legacy 2.0 is an album for everyone who realized that doing anything worth trying is probably harder than you imagine, but who doesn’t give up and keeps persisting.
